Why is Homework Important?

Homework teaches students to work independently and develop self-discipline. Homework encourages students to take initiative and responsibility for completing a task. Homework allows parents to have an active role in their child's education and helps them to evaluate their child's progress.

 Each Night Your Student Should:

1. Practice their sight words

2. Complete the Nightly Homework Problems on the

Each week your child will have a homework sheet with a simple math and reading activity for each night. Homework sheets are du e Friday morning.

3. Read their library books

Students are required to read their library books each night so that they are ready to take a reading counts on them the next day.
