Mr. Sandoval's Bio

Mr. Sandoval

Director of Bands at Lexington Middle School

Hello and welcome to my biography!

My name is Mr. Sandoval and I am a recent graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. My primary instrument is the tuba which I studied under the direction of Dr. Dennis AsKew and Dr. Justin Worley. I am a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Music Fraternity as well as a member of the American String Teachers Association.

My student teaching experience was at Northwest Guilford Middle School in Guilford county where I studied under Mrs. Elizabeth Cox and Mr. Donny Walter. I had a wonderful time working with the students at Northwest and learning from some of the best band/orchestra teachers in the state of North Carolina.

I am very excited to be here at Lexington Middle School as a first year teacher. I have heard many things about the wonderful program and I am very eager to get the ball rolling and working with the students here. I have high expectations for all of my students but that is because I know we will be the best!

A little bit about my personal life is that I love to play video games. I play many different types of video games and can chat with people for hours about them. I also am an animal lover. I have a three year old black cat named Momo and I treat him like my child.

I look forward to having a great first year and I can not wait to make music with you!UNCG CVPA Logo
