Students are expected to come to class prepared with pencils, paper, notebooks, and Jacket binders.  In order to maximize learning, they must be active learners who do not take away from the learning experience for classmates.
In Fourth Grade Math, students need to memorize multiplication Math facts through 12's.  .  PLEASE help your child learn these facts through games, flashcards, and verbally.

‚ÄčAs a general rule, I expect homework to be completed when they walk into the classroom.  If they pull it out to work in class, it is considered not done.

In Math, students have multiplication flash cards that must be flashed nightly and be signed by a parent or guardian. They will also occasionally have other Math homework.

For Language Arts, students will be expected to read 20 minutes nightly, including Friday’s and either Saturday or Sunday.  They will need to get their Reading Logs signed each night by a parent or guardian.
