Exceptional Children's Teacher- This EC teacher will provide a range of services to students in grades 7 and/or 8.  Candidates should have current NC licensure, EC experience, and strong collaborative and leadership qualities.  EC School-Based Chair experience and licensure in middle grades math/LA are a plus!

South Lexington
Exceptional Children's Pre-K Teacher- This EC Pre-K will serve all LCS children with developmental delays who are 3-4 years of age, including those who are in Head Start, day care, or homebound placements.  In addition to typical EC case manager duties, this teacher is responsible for numerous other Pre-K Coordinator activities, including inter-agency collaboration, educational evaluations, Trans-disciplinary Play Based Assessments, COSF documentation, and all related EC paperwork.  Applicants should have a relevant licensure, part C to B background, and have strong inter-personal and organizational skills.

To complete an application, visit http://schooljobs.dpi.state.nc.us/.  At this site, new users need to click the “New Users” button to create a username and password  to create an electronic application.  In addition to the electronic application, you must also send in copies of college transcripts, Praxis scores, and a copy of teaching license if you are licensed, and three reference forms (download from LCS website).  Ask three references who know your  work history to complete the forms.  Have references place the forms in a sealed envelope and sign across the flap.
