"Be Somebody" Awards

The “Be Somebody” award recognizes hard work, good character and individuals who go above and beyond expectations to make their school a better place to learn. 1 classified staff person, 1 certified staff person and 1 student from each school may be recognized each month at the school level. Any student or staff member may nominate others from their building. The principal will announce the school level winners during a special time of their choosing. All nominations must be submitted by the first of each month to the school principal. The principal will then submit school winners to the superintendent by the 14th of each month. One winner from each category will be selected as the "Be Somebody" recipient for the system and be recognized at the following month’s school board meeting.
