Welcome to PreK! I am Denee Hairston. I am a native of Thomasville, NC. I worked at Davidson County Community College for 20 years before coming to South Lexington School.  I have currently been at Slouth Lexington for 10 years as a PreK Teacher.  I have served as the PreK Team Lead for approximately 7 year now.  

I am a graduate of Thomasville High School. I later graduated from Catawba College with my Bachelors Degreee in Birth thorugh Kindergarten.  I am married and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, crafting and singing.  

I am blessed to have a wonderful Instructional Assistant, Ms. Katie Martinez. She is a native of Lexington. She is married and has 4 children. Ms Katie and is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree in Birth through Kindergarten Education.  Ms. Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and experieince to our classroom.
