Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Lauren Burkhart and I am thrilled to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I’m looking forward to teaching your child and providing meaningful experiences to develop a lifelong love for learning.
I am a graduate of Catawba College and this will be my 12th year teaching Kindergarten at South Lexington School. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach, shopping, and spending time with my family and my English Bulldog "Chubb".
My purpose is to help each individual child be successful. Your child’s success will be enhanced by your support and involvement in his/her school experience.
