Welcome to 5th Grade Reading!

My name is Jessica Bryan and I will be teaching your child reading and social studies this school year. This is my 23rd year teaching in Lexington. I was born and raised in Cooperstown, NY until I left to attend college at Marshall University. While at Marshall University, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Social Studies, and Language Arts. I then moved to Lexington to teach. I also began working on and earning my Master's Degree from Winston-Salem State University.

I live in Lexington with my husband and two children. My husband is also a teacher in Lexington. I have two children. My oldest child is 20. He graduated from Lexington High School and is currently in his 3rd year at Western Carolina University. My daughter is a sixth-grade teacher in Lexington as well.
