Welcome! My name is Trisha Smith and I have worked for Lexington Senior High School since January of 2015. I relocated from Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in mathematics with teaching certification for grades 6-12 from Seton Hill University and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. I currently am teaching Foundations of Math 1 and Math 3 but have taught almost every math offered at Lexington. I am also an Credited Interscholastic Tennis Coach for the Lady Jacket's Tennis team and the assistant coach for the Lady Jacket's Soccer team. I was voted Lexington City School's Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year. I have a 5 year old daughter RyLeigh who has just started Kindergarten this year at Pickett Elementary for Spanish Immersion. The past years have been a whirlwind of challenges and fun and I would want it any other way.
