Mrs. Saint Pierre Charles, Katia

Hello, I am Katia Charles-Saint Pierre. I'm a dedicated educator with a passion for empowering students to reach their full potential. My journey in education and social work has been a rewarding one, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself.

I earned my bachelor's degree in social work with a minor in Sociology from Florida International University in 2019. During my time there, I developed strong interpersonal and advocacy skills that allowed me to connect with clients on a deeper level and stand up for their needs. My commitment to excellence didn't go unnoticed; I was honored to receive two awards from the school of Social Work for my exceptional leadership qualities.

Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Arts in teaching at Winston Salem State University. This academic pursuit aligns perfectly with my passion for guiding and nurturing young minds. As I step into my role as an educator, I am thrilled to be embarking on my third semester of teaching at Lexington Middle School. The opportunity to contribute to this community and play a role in shaping your children's education brings me immense joy.

My foremost goal as an educator is to equip my students with the essential tools they need to thrive throughout their lives. I firmly believe in fostering critical thinking skills and encouraging the application of knowledge to real-life situations. For me, education knows no bounds, and I'm driven to ensure that every student who leaves my classroom at the end of the school year does so armed with confidence and practical skills. In my classroom, failure is not an option; I am committed to providing a supportive environment where each student can flourish and succeed.

Thank you for welcoming me into this community, and I look forward to a transformative and enriching academic journey together
