Samuel Howell is the Choral Director at Lexington Middle School. He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, a fellow Tar Heel with the same name as the well-known football quarterback, Sam Howell. Mr. Howell earned a Bachelor of Music Education and a Minor in Spanish Translation and Interpretation from UNC-CH.

Mr. Howell is an active member of the North Carolina Music Educators Association, the American Choral Directors Association, and numerous other organizations for music teachers. 

Mr. Howell is originally from Long Island, NY, but loves North Carolina and Lexington BBQ! He enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Hannah and his cat, Mittens.
