Lexington Middle School Weekly Updates
Thank you all for helping us to set the course for success for all of our yellow jackets.
This week we will be hard at it again as we celebrate with 3rd Quarter awards for our yellow jackets. On Tuesday we will celebrate 6th grade, on Wednesday we will celebrate 7th grade and 8th graders will receive their awards on Thursday. Doors for our parents and guests will open at 9:20 each morning.
Our Math 1 students will take NC Check Ins on Tuesday April 4th (Corrected Date). Our School Improvement team will meet on Monday right after dismissal at 4pm and our FTO will meet virtually at 6pm. Please contact Asst. Principal Wells for the link.
On Wednesday, April 5th, all parents interested in meeting with our school administration in a "town hall" setting are invited to our 1st "Parents with Principals" session. Please make arrangements to come out from 5-6pm and share your ideas on how we can continue to move LMS forward and to gain understanding about helping our yellow jackets navigate the middle school years.
Our athletes will be in action beginning tomorrow when our soccer team heads over to South Asheboro for a 4:30pm contest. Our track team will play host to Thomasville Middle on Tuesday. On Wednesday our tennis team will travel to Greensboro Day School and Thursday our soccer team will play host to Thomasville. Please continue to show up and show your support!
This week is also National Assistant Principal Week. Please join me in celebrating our Assistant Principals, Mrs. Wilson, Ms. Wells, and Mr. Hairston by saying thank you and showing appreciation all week long for the hard work and dedication they display daily.
Spring Break for LCS will begin at dismissal on this Thursday April 6th. It is our hope that all staff and students take full advantage of this opportunity to rest up so that we can all finish strong.
This concludes our Weekly Updates. Please enjoy the remainder of this beautiful weekend and let's make this a great Yellow Jacket week._________________________________________
