90 Minute Class Segment Breakdown
20-minute: warm up or (Essential Question), attendance, homework check & review, discuss warm up or essential question.
15-minute: Review Notes and Key Points, work & discuss examples, Critical Thinking skills, Inferencing and sharing your point of view.
25-minute: “Guided Practice Time” as a class. (Example) Math Problems, Writing Probes, Vocabulary activities, Language & Literature probes, & Social skill activities.
30-minute: “Independent Practice Time” as a class work 5 -10 (Examples) Math Problems, Writing Probes, Vocabulary activities, Language & Literature probes, & Social skill activities. ***TAKE NOTES FOR THE NEXT DAY RECAP***
Grade Book Break Down
Formal Test 65%: (Minimum of 4 total)
Test, Quiz, Secondary Evaluations (Job or Training), Interest Inventories, & Social Skill test.
Informal Test 35%: (Minimum of 10 total)
Class work, Homework, Class participation, Written Samples, Projects, Portfolios etc.
