    October 30

Thank you all for another great week in the HIVE.  We have all made it through a very tough 1st quarter of the school year and should take time to reflect on accomplishments and make adjustments where needed.

This week we have quite a few adjustments to our routine, so here are some reminders.

Tomorrow, Monday, 10/31, LCS will have an Optional Teacher Workday.  There will be no school for students.

On Tuesday Nov. 1st, our staff will be conducting student lead, parent/teacher conferences from 10am to 6pm. Please be sure to make arrangements with your child's teacher for an available time slot. Report cards will be made available for pick up.

On Wednesday Nov 2, our FB team will be traveling to Thomasville to play their final contest of the season. Please come out and show your support!

Parents, we need your help!  Please help maintain the safety and security of all of our students by using the car-rider line to drop off and pick up your students.  The teacher and staff parking lot is not appropriate, supervised or safe.  We also need to have all afternoon checkouts to take place prior to 3pm and resume after 3:30pm to allow proper attention to be given to dismissal procedures and managing bus movement at the front of our school.  We will be assisting visitors on the front sidewalk beginning at 3:15 daily to limit congestion and cross traffic in our front entrance and office.

Please continue to support and grow with us as we set a secure Course for Success for our students as well.

This concludes our weekly updates.  I hope that you enjoy the remainder of this beautiful weekend and let's have a Great Yellow Jacket week!
