• Homework May 9-13

This week our word family is the “ook” family.  Hopefully your child is becoming very comfortable with word family words and rhyming words.  In math we will continue to practice first grade objectives.  It is hard to believe that this year is almost over.  I can’t express my appreciation for all your support this year.

Monday:  Write the following “ook” family words two times:  cook, look, took, hook, and book.  Write and illustrate two sentences using an “ook” family word.  Sentences should begin with a capital letter, have spaces between words, and end with a period.

Math:  Put the following numbers in order from greatest (largest) to least (smallest).

    45,    32,    17,   28,    38

Skip count to 100 by 10’s.

Review k-words, read skinny books and media book (log on reading log)
