Kindergarten-We are learning about steady beat, and all the different ways that we can show it.  We have been using our bodies (body percussion), we have been moving around the room, and we have been using our voices and instruments as well.   

First Grade- We are working on singing three pitch patterns- Mi -Sol- La.  We have the hand signs, as well as what they sound like with our voices.  We have been using boomwhackers to help us perform the three pitches in other ways.  We have also been starting to compose our own three pitch melodies in different ways.       

Second Grade- We are working on singing three pitch patterns- Mi- Sol- La. We have learned the hand signs, as well as what they sound like with our voices.  We have been using boomwhackers to also help us perform the pitches.  We have also begun composing our own three-pitch melodies for the voice and/or boomwhackers.

Third Grade- We are currently working on a musical play titled "Hats".  We are working on the second and third songs in our play.  

Fourth Grade- We are working on adding music to pictures and are preparing to learn about 16th notes (four together).  We will be learning the song "Ding Dong Diggi Diggi Dong".   

Fifth Grade-  We are working on adding music to pictures, and acting out the pictures.  We are also preparing to learn about 4 16th notes.  We will be learning the song "Ding Dong Diggi Diggi Dong"
