Hello! I am Elizabeth Cullens and I am happy to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year. I have been called  Buffie since birth, so you may hear me called by my nickname. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University. I started teaching in 1995, but took quite some time off from teaching when my children were growing up. I have been married 24 years and have three children ages 22, 21 and 19. I am a recent empty-nester. We have a dog named Java. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the beach and mountains. I like to go camping with my family and friends. I also like to attend sporting events and theatrical performances.

We are going to have an amazing year in Kindergarten! I am excited to be working with Ms. Faith Shuman to ensure that your child has a positive and memorable Kindergarten experience! Ms. Shuman is currently taking college classes and plans to obtain her teaching license.
