Meet Mr. Fernung!

Welcome to The Media Center @ Pickett's webpage. My name is Mr. Terence Fernung. This is my 25th year with Lexington City Schools. I have been fortunate to teach both fourth and fifth grades, as well as serve as Assistant Principal, and now Media Coordinator. I have been married for 28 years and have two children. My oldest daughter is married and teaches at Charles England Elementary School. My son is 18 and has 2 Black Belts in Karate. I also have a grandson who will be a year old at the end of September. I am originally from Kokomo, Indiana. My dad retired from the United States Navy, which gave me the opportunity to travel and live in different countries.
