Welcome! My name is Mr. Hogrefe! I am a 5th grade science teacher this year! This is my third year teaching, but this is my 5th year at Southwest Elementary. I hold a bachelor's degree in History from Campbell University.  I am the father of two beautiful children 2 year old Amelia and 7 month old Matthew.  None of this would be possible without the support of my wife Melanie, who also works at Southwest. I love to read, coach football, play video games, and build computers. I look forward to an awesome year with your students as we explore the scientific world!
