Welcome to English 1! 

My name is Ms. Sanchez. I am one of the English 1 teachers at Lexington Senior High School. Although I was born in Los Angeles, CA, I was raised in Lexington, NC.  I graduated from LSHS in 2011. I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I graduated from there in 2016 with a B.A. in Middle Grades Education. I am certified to teach 6-9th Social Studies and 6-12th ELA. I taught my first five years at Lexington Middle School. This will be year two for me at LSHS as an English 1 teacher.
