My name is Arlinda Mayes and I'm thrilled to be your child's teacher.  I'm a graduate of South Carolina State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for over 25 years and 8 of those were right here in Lexington City Schools. In my spare time, I love spending quality time with my family, bowling, shopping, and taking long vacations to tropical places. This year will be packed full of learning adventures that will be both exciting and challenging. Our class motto is "Never settle for anything less than your best". I expect each of you to try new things, ask for help,and never give up.
