Charles England Family Update: Shortened Week and Upcoming Events
At Charles England Elementary, we are grateful for another meaningful week filled with learning, laughter, and the continued growth of our students. The support of our families plays a vital role in helping us live out our R.I.D.E. values—Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence—each and every day. Whether during Morning Meeting, small group instruction, or recess, our students continue to thrive as we move forward together on the Energy Bus.
As we head into a shortened week, please take note of the following updates and upcoming events:
No School Friday, April 18
There will be no school for students in observance of the holiday.
No School Monday, April 21
This is an optional teacher workday for Lexington City Schools. Students will not attend school on this day.
Field Day Rescheduled
Field Day has been rescheduled for Friday, April 25. We are excited for this day of fun and school spirit. More information will be shared soon.
Spring Scholastic Book Fair
Stay tuned for details about our upcoming Book Fair. This event is a great opportunity to foster a love of reading and build home libraries.
