🐝 CEES Ready to Welcome Students for First Day of School – Monday, August 11
The excitement is building at Charles England Elementary as we prepare to welcome our Jackets back for the first day of the 2025–26 school year on Monday, August 11.
School Day Schedule
Building Opens: 7:15 a.m.
Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
Dismissal: 2:25 p.m.
Car Rider Procedures
Pick-up and drop-off for car riders will take place in the cafeteria parking lot. Drivers are asked to use extra caution, especially on the first day of school. Staff and volunteers will be in the car line to assist with opening and closing car doors and escorting students safely into the building. Please follow the flow of traffic, be a courteous driver, and remember—safety first when driving to and from school.
Clear Backpack Policy
As a reminder, CEES follows the Clear Backpack Policy for all students. Backpacks must be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or similar transparent materials.
One small additional bag (no larger than 6" x 9" x 5") is allowed.
Non-clear lunchboxes, medically necessary items, and athletic/instrument bags are permitted with restrictions.
Cell phones may not be used during the school day.
Boarding the Energy Bus
This year, CEES is “boarding the Energy Bus” as we R.I.D.E. together—showing Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. At Charles England, every moment counts and every child matters, and we are ready to make this a year to remember.
