Charles England Elementary will celebrate Read Across America Week, March 2–6, with themed dress-up days to promote a love of reading.
Activities begin Monday with “Mix It Up Monday,” when students wear mixed-matched clothing. Tuesday’s “Thing 1, Thing 2” theme encourages students to dress alike with a friend. On Wednesday, “Hats On for Reading,” students can wear their favorite hat.
Thursday, inspired by “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”, invites students to wear a college shirt to highlight how reading supports future success. The week ends Friday with “Wild About Reading,” when students wear animal print.
The celebration includes special reading activities throughout the week, encouraging students to become lifelong readers.

Charles England Elementary celebrará la Semana de Leer a Través de América del 2 al 6 de marzo con días temáticos para fomentar el amor por la lectura.
El lunes será “¡Lunes para Mezclarlo Todo!”, donde los estudiantes usarán ropa combinada y desparejada. El martes, “¡Cosa 1, Cosa 2!”, podrán vestirse igual que un amigo. El miércoles, “¡Sombreros para Leer!”, usarán su sombrero favorito.
El jueves, inspirado en “¡Oh, los Lugares a los que Llegarás!”, los estudiantes usarán camiseta universitaria. El viernes, “¡Locos por la Lectura!”, podrán vestir estampado de animal.
Durante la semana habrá actividades especiales que promueven lectores de por vida.
