Charles England Elementary School hosted its annual Arts Gala at Englandwood on Thursday, May 7th, celebrating student creativity, talent, and community support through a vibrant evening of visual and performing arts.
The event featured two showcase sessions designed to highlight the artistic work of students across grade levels. The first session, held from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., showcased the talents of 1st and 2nd grade students. Families and guests enjoyed a colorful display of student artwork and creative expression.
The evening continued with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade showcase from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., featuring an impressive range of student pieces that demonstrated growth, imagination, and skill development across the upper elementary grades.
The Arts Gala provided an opportunity for students to share their work with families and the community while celebrating the importance of arts education within Lexington City Schools. The event was well attended, with families, staff, and community members coming together to support student achievement.
