HI ! I am Mrs. Beck, the Visual Arts Teacher for South Lexington Elementary and Developmental Center. This is my 24th year in education and love that I can continue to share art with our students. Letting them experience a variety of materials and processes is key to igniting their imagination. The Arts are such an important part of brain development. It helps with fine motor skills, cognitive functions, sensorimotor functions, self-esteem, social skills, mental heath, problem solving, and critical thinking.
