Our Mission:
At South Lexington, our mission is to help our children become ready for the future. We will work closely with families to create a positive, safe, and caring learning environment that supports their growth and challenges them to meet their full potential.
Title 1
Title I is a federal program that provides extra resources to schools to help all children meet high academic standards. These funds are used to support reading and math instruction, provide additional learning opportunities, and help ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed—no matter their background or circumstances.
In Lexington City Schools, our Title I program is led by Sharon Fennell, Chief Academic Officer. She works closely with schools, staff, and families to make sure Title I resources are used effectively to support student learning.
