Lexington, NC – Lexington City Schools (LCS) is excited to announce the return of the Summer Feeding Program for 2025, running from June 3rd through July 31st. Thanks to the SUN Meals initiative, all children 18 years and under can receive free hot lunches and participate in fun activities at various open community sites throughout Lexington.
Look out for the LCS Activity Bus, which will deliver meals at scheduled times to five community locations. No registration or ID is required, and all meals must be eaten on-site.

In addition to meals, Lexington City Schools has partnered with the Lexington YMCA (Y on Wheels) to expand access to food and engagement throughout the summer. While specific details may vary, the YMCA will provide meals on the days the LCS Activity Bus is not serving a site.
