About Me

I’m the Instructional Coach at Lexington Senior High School, where I have the privilege of supporting teachers, working with students, and creating opportunities for learning, growth, and celebration. Before moving into instructional leadership, I spent 15 years doing what I still love...teaching English!

I earned my degree in English and Education Studies from Guilford College and my master’s in School Administration from UNC at Greensboro. I’m especially proud to be part of a B school where success is truly a team effort. Our staff, students, families, and community show up for one another and share one belief at the heart of everything we do: our students deserve nothing less than our absolute best.

My philosophy: We don't teach students what to think. We give them the skills, knowledge, and courage to think for themselves.

My email address is mmiles@lexcs.org, or you can contact me at extension 2263.
