The Lexington Senior High School Spark Lab has done it again! A team of four talented students — Michaela Perri, Sanyta Tuy, Megan Lem, and Keona Lee — has been selected for the Apple, Inc. App Showcase held on November 4th.

Over the past month, these students have been developing an innovative mental health support app designed to help young people navigate emotional challenges and access resources for well-being. Their project aims to make a meaningful impact by promoting awareness, connection, and support among students.

During the showcase, the team presented their app proposal to a panel of judges. After reviewing all submissions, the panel selected five finalist teams across the state — and LSHS Spark Lab made the list! The finalists will return to Apple’s Raleigh campus on December 5th to present their apps in the final round.

This recognition reflects the creativity, dedication, and technical skill of our students, as well as the outstanding guidance of Mr. Beamer, their Spark Lab advisor. We are extremely proud of this achievement and can’t wait to see what’s next for these remarkable students and their inspiring project!
