Welcome to Lexington Senior High School! We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Yellow Jacket Nation and begin this exciting new chapter with you.

To help students make a smooth and successful transition to high school, we invite all incoming freshmen and their families to attend Freshman Orientation.

Date: Thursday, August 6, 2026

Time:8:15 AM – 2:30 PM

Location:Lexington Senior High School

Freshman Orientation is designed to help students become familiar with their new school, connect with classmates and staff, and gain the confidence needed for a successful start to high school. Throughout the day, participants will experience:

  • Student Leadership Panel and Question & Answer Session

  • Guided Campus Tours

  • Freshman Success Sessions

  • Parent Information Session

  • School Scavenger Hunt

  • Closing Pep Rally and Fellowship

We encourage all freshmen and their families to attend this exciting event. Please complete the Freshman Orientation Registration Form to reserve your spot.
