Lexington Senior High School Announces 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame Class
Lexington Senior High School is proud to announce seven individuals who will be inducted into the 2026 Lexington Senior High School Athletic Hall of Fame, recognizing their achievements, leadership and contributions to the tradition of Yellow Jacket Athletics.
The 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame Class includes:

Janice Tate
Cedric Ellison
Charles Anthony Welborn
Robert Watson
The Class of 2026 will be formally honored during the Lexington Senior High School Athletic Hall of Fame Celebration on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Lexington Senior High School.
The Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose accomplishments and contributions have helped shape the history and tradition of Lexington Senior High School athletics. This year’s class represents generations of achievement, leadership, service and dedication to Lexington Senior High School and the Lexington community.
“We are extremely proud to recognize this outstanding group of individuals as members of the Lexington Senior High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026,” said Ben Robinson, Lexington Senior High School Athletic Director. “Their accomplishments and contributions represent the rich history and tradition of Lexington Athletics. We look forward to celebrating their legacies and sharing this special evening with their families, friends, former teammates, coaches and the entire Yellow Jacket community.”
