For more than three decades, Ms. Gloria Graves was the heart of gym class at Lexington City Schools. From “jump the brook” to lessons in sportsmanship, resilience, and kindness, she made sure every child felt seen, supported, and celebrated. A proud graduate of North Carolina A&T and Walter Hines High School, Ms. Graves not only taught games but also built a community rooted in joy and love. Her impact continues to inspire generations, and her legacy will always live on in the lives she touched.
