A note at the bottom reads, “These dates were previously identified as potential make-up days.” An orange bar along the bottom displays the hashtag #ThriveintheHive in white text.

At last night’s meeting, the Lexington City Schools Board of Education approved several calendar adjustments to help us recover instructional time while minimizing disruption to families and staff.

Approved Calendar Changes:

• Monday, February 16 – Student Day (previously a teacher workday)

• Monday, March 16 – Student Day (previously a teacher workday)

• Friday, April 3 – Early Release Student Day (previously a teacher workday)

• Wednesday, April 29 – Student Day (previously an early release day)

These dates were previously identified as potential make-up days within the adopted school calendar.

These adjustments allow us to reclaim meaningful instructional time while preserving the majority of our planned breaks.

The revised, board-approved calendar is available for download in English and Spanish below.
