Lexington City Schools proudly announces the appointment of Coach TJ Holt as the new Head Football Coach at Lexington Senior High School.
A proud alumnus of Lexington Senior High School and a lifelong servant to the Lexington community, Coach Holt has long been a familiar and respected presence in Yellow Jacket athletics. He previously served on the Lexington football staff, including as Defensive Coordinator, and is part of a family legacy that has helped shape generations of young athletes in Lexington.
“Coach Holt’s unwavering commitment to Lexington Senior High School and the Lexington community makes him the best fit to lead this generation of Yellow Jackets,” said Dr. Jermaine L. Porter, Principal of Lexington Senior High School.
Coach Holt brings a passion for developing more than strong football players. His vision is clear. He will establish a culture rooted in discipline, leadership, accountability, and pride both on and off the field. He understands what it means to wear the Blue and Orange and is committed to developing young men who represent Lexington Senior High School with character and excellence.
His leadership philosophy emphasizes academic responsibility, personal growth, and community pride. Student athletes will be prepared not only for competition, but for life beyond high school.
Coach Holt will begin leading offseason conditioning and program development immediately as the Yellow Jackets prepare for the upcoming season.
