Lexington City Schools is proud to announce that Amy Ralph, Media Coordinator at Southwest Global Academy, has been appointed to a prestigious leadership role with the North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA).
In her new position, Mrs. Ralph will lead all Regional Directors across the state, providing guidance, coordination, and support to school library media professionals throughout North Carolina. This appointment reflects her strong leadership, deep expertise, and commitment to advancing school library programs.
In addition, Mrs. Ralph will oversee the NCSLMA Winter Tune Up Virtual Conference, scheduled for March 15–20, 2026. This statewide professional development event supports educators with innovative practices, instructional strategies, and resources that strengthen media and literacy programs across North Carolina.
Within Lexington City Schools, Mrs. Ralph consistently goes above and beyond her role as Media Coordinator. She is a collaborative leader, instructional partner, and advocate for student-centered learning. Most recently, she has played an active role in helping develop AI Guidelines for Lexington City Schools, contributing her expertise to ensure responsible, ethical, and instructional use of emerging technologies.
Her leadership at both the district and state levels highlights the exceptional talent within Lexington City Schools. We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Ralph and grateful for the impact she continues to make on our students, staff, and the broader educational community.
