Lexington City Schools is sharing information about SUN Bucks 2026, a program that provides grocery benefits to eligible students during the summer months.
SUN Bucks helps ensure families have access to nutritious food when school is not in session. Benefits are issued on an EBT card and can be used at grocery stores, farmers markets, and select online retailers.
Many students will automatically qualify, including those who receive free or reduced-price meals or participate in programs such as Medicaid or Food and Nutrition Services.
Some families may need to apply.
Families should update their contact information by March 31, 2026 to ensure timely delivery of benefits.
