Lexington City Schools is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by one of its student groups.
The chorus, under the direction of Ms. Casey Mancilla, recently traveled to Walt Disney World where they participated in a competitive choral performance event. The students earned Best in Class and received a Superior rating, the highest distinction awarded.
The trip provided students with an unforgettable experience, combining performance excellence with meaningful memories. In addition to competing, students had the opportunity to grow as performers, represent Lexington City Schools on a national stage, and showcase their dedication to the arts.
This accomplishment reflects the commitment of the students, the leadership of Ms. Mancilla, and the continued support from families, staff, and the community. From fundraising efforts to concert attendance and encouragement, the entire Lexington City Schools community played a role in this success.
The chorus also returned home with a new classroom trophy, symbolizing their achievement and the pride they carry for their school.
