Lexington City Schools proudly welcomes Dr. Ron Anthony as Superintendent, effective May 1, 2026. With more than 20 years of experience in North Carolina public education, Dr. Anthony brings a strong record of leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success. Most recently serving as Deputy Superintendent of Person County Schools, he has led key operational and instructional initiatives while supporting school leaders districtwide.
Dr. Anthony holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNC Wilmington and is dedicated to fostering collaboration, strengthening academic achievement, and ensuring every student thrives. He and his family look forward to becoming active members of the Lexington community.
